Our Connection to Hamilton & Responsible Waste Management
Hamilton isn’t simply another area on our service map — it’s where Problem Solved Waste Services Ltd has its roots. Our company director, Kyle, was brought up in Hamilton and lived in the town until the age of 28, so we have a genuine connection to the area and the communities we work in.
From Hamilton town centre and Burnbank to High Earnock, Silvertonhill, Little Earnock, Hillhouse and surrounding South Lanarkshire communities like Quarter, Ferniegair, Blantyre and Strathaven - these are places we know well. Today, we’re proud to provide local households, businesses, landlords and trades with a reliable waste removal service across the area.
Being familiar with Hamilton also means maintaining the area matters to us personally. We take responsible waste management seriously, ensuring the waste we collect is transported through the correct licensed channels, with materials recovered and recycled wherever possible.
Hamilton was home long before Problem Solved Waste Services existed — and we’re proud that it’s now one of the communities our business serves.
Where Does Your Waste Go After Collection in Hamilton?
When we collect waste in Hamilton, our responsibility doesn’t end when the van drives away. Having grown up in Hamilton, our director Kyle knows the area well, and making sure waste from his hometown is dealt with properly is something we take seriously.
Depending on the type of material collected, we regularly use licensed facilities including Newton Waste in Motherwell, Bluesky Environmental and Dunsmore Brothers. Loads are taken to the most appropriate facility where waste can be sorted, processed and materials recovered for recycling wherever possible.
Using established local waste facilities also helps us keep journeys practical while ensuring rubbish from homes, businesses and trade jobs across Hamilton is handled through the correct waste-management channels.
For us, responsible waste removal means knowing where your waste goes after we collect it — not simply making it disappear from your property.
